You know I love Jesus and want others to know and love him, too!
Here’s what you may not know unless we’ve met before:
In first grade, I wrote and “published” my first book, its three-hole-punched pages and laminated, construction paper cover fastened together by plastic hoops. I was so proud to be asked to share it with my class before they all became authors, too. I’ve loved writing fiction ever since!
I am blessed to be married and the mother of two girls and two boys. While Jesus has been my inspiration, my family has been my greatest source of encouragement as I write. One even told me she would be adding me to her list of favorite authors! What an honor!
I grew up in Washington, where I met and married my husband, then proceeded to move every three years until our family finally settled in Mountain Home, Arkansas, in 2011. Here, we continue to play musical houses but have not gone far as we fell in love with the people and the beauty of the area.
I’ve worked as a Physical Therapist for over 22 years while also dabbling in real estate investing with rentals and flips. Maybe it was all the moving I’ve done as an adult or maybe the walk-throughs of new construction I did as a child with my curious parents, but I really enjoy real estate, especially giving new life to a house in need of love. As a natural progression of investing in real estate, I am now licensed and working as a Realtor®.
My very favorite places to invest are not in real estate. Surprised? I am most devoted to investing my time, treasure, and talents in people. I volunteer with The CALL, Into The Light, at church, and with the various sports and band events at my kids’ schools. I’m also a homeschool mom for one of my kiddos, and Bible studies/discipleship with friends and my children are high priority!
When there is a moment to relax, I find peace in time with Jesus, listening and studying His Word. I’m further invigorated by writing Christian fiction for children and young adults, traveling, boating or lounging in the sun at one of the fabulous lakes in the region, and doing activities I may soon be too old for, like climbing walls, ziplining, and cliff jumping.
Thank you for taking time to meet me! I’d love to meet you, too!
